Sixth Form News - 6th March 2026

The Year 13s have had a particularly busy week as we count down to our trip to Center Parcs, leaving next Monday. They have all worked incredibly hard to collaboratively decide on menus, make shopping lists and complete an online shopping order - all whilst sticking to a strict budget. The boys managed to come in at £6.79 under budget, whilst the girls had just 29p to spare - amazing work!

Last weekend, although unfortunately Eshan was injured and unable to play, George was able to help lead their team, the Ruislip Rangers, to victory in their tournament, scoring one goal per winning match across four games - well done, George!

Jess also enjoyed her weekend, watching her favourite netball team, London Pulse, beat Manchester Thunder 47-41.

Unfortunately due to recent events in the Middle East, Tyler was unable to attend his cricket tour this week. This has now been postponed to next year. We were sorry to hear about this disappointment, but are happy to have you safe in school this week, Tyler. On the subject of cricket, Lillie is looking forward to a tour of Trent Bridge this weekend. Have a lovely time, Lillie!

On Thursday, some of the sixth-formers dressed up for world book day, in some highly creative and imaginative outfits, including Ben from 'Gangster Granny' (Oliver), and Lucy Grey Baird from 'The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes' (Lucy). Miss Lashley and Erin even came as a double-act: Thing 1 and Thing 2!
