Rowan News - 27th March 2026

We had a lovely trip to Westbrook Hay last Friday - the sun shone and the pupils were fantastic.  They followed a trail to find picture clues along the route, including a bear!  You will notice Amelia, Jasmine and Amy are not in the picture - they were very keen trail followers and were already on their way to find the next clue.

This term Mrs Wyton’s year 9 maths group have worked extremely hard and covered some tough maths concepts - they certainly deserved their campfire reward - and even managed lunch after 2 smores each!  Mrs Wyton’s year 7 maths group have been continuing their work on measurement - including volume and capacity using their skills to measure liquids to make delicious (?) cocktails.

Oliver and Phoebe in year 10 were fantastic on their hike at Wendover Woods today as part of the Duke of Edinburgh coursework.

Ethan entertained year 7 by inventing a board game which had us all doing some very interesting dance moves and following the actions on the cads - well done Ethan.

The pupils should all know by now what their Friday activity for the summer term is - please check their diaries if they are not sure.
