It has been wonderful to welcome students back from the half term break.

Whilst most students will have been stuck enduring the rather disappointing weather at home, Tarini in Year 8 was able to go on an incredible pilgrimage to Mayapur in India. A few pictures of her trip can be found below:

Prior to half term week in Science, Issac stepped into the role of teacher!

After our lesson on filtration, he confidently took to the front of the classroom to re-teach the experiment, carefully explaining each step and impressing everyone with his clear understanding of the process.

It was wonderful to see his confidence grow and his enthusiasm for learning shine through. Who knows -  we may have a future science teacher in the making!

This week Ronnie Sullivan in Year 8 gave an interesting and confidently delivered lesson to his history group on the Crusades. Ronnie went through a worksheet that we prepared together, circulated around the class to mark their work and gave everyone in the class a commendation. He is going to be a hard act for me to follow next week!
