Growth Through Good Choices
This week, our theme is goodness. Goodness can be shown in many ways: through integrity, effort, kindness, perseverance, and the choices we make each day.
At your stage in school, goodness is not simply about being kind to others, but also about being responsible for your own growth and taking your education seriously.
For our Year 10 students currently completing their Progress Check assessments, we recognise the effort and commitment you have shown.
You have approached these assessments with maturity and focus, and you should be proud of how well you have behaved. Your attitude has been positive, and your effort has been clear. Remember, your effort truly counts. Progress checks are designed to identify what you know and what still needs improvement. It is perfectly okay not to answer every question, especially as some topics are still unfamiliar.
These moments are part of the learning journey and help your teachers better support you.
For our Year 11 students, time is now a crucial factor. We have just four weeks remaining before the end of the spring term. How you use this time will make a significant difference.
Demonstrating goodness at this stage means staying focused, using your lessons wisely, completing revision thoughtfully, and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Let this week remind us that goodness is not about perfection; it is about consistent effort, resilience, and making the right choices, even when things feel challenging. Keep going; your hard work is being recognised, and it will pay off.
