Egerton Rothesay School

An Independent Co-educational Day School

Welcome to our school.

We believe that Egerton Rothesay is a school with something for everyone, but perhaps especially for the child who can benefit from additional support within a caring environment. Our core school structure is for children aged 9 to 16, Y5-Y11, but we also have facilities for younger children, in our Springboard and Rainbow centres.

We provide a unique and relevant education for all our students, within a framework that is focused on preparing each child for life in today’s complex society and the ever changing world of work. We believe that learning should be focused on the individual and be challenging and stretching. All this within a supportive framework and, most important of all, providing an environment that is enjoyable for the child throughout their school career.

As a school we celebrate all achievements and seek to inspire, challenge and affirm all students. We are an inclusive school welcoming children from all cultures and faiths.

Children come to us with a variety of different learning styles and we make use of a wide range of teaching strategies in order to best match these. In addition, we have the facilities to provide specialist support either on an interim or long term basis to enable each individual child to make the best possible progress.

We hope that the following pages give a flavour of the school and how it might benefit your child. Please use the links below to go to particular sections or simply browse the whole site.

We would also like to show you the school in reality and would be pleased to arrange a visit to suit you. Should you wish to visit the school or find out more about it please contact Liz Martin on 01442 877060 orliz.martin@eger-roth.co.uk
