Beech News - 22nd May 2026
As we head into the May half term break, we want to recognise the hard work, resilience, and determination shown by students in Beech Base.
Year 11, you are in the middle of your GCSEs, and my regular conversations with some of you highlight your outstanding focus and maturity. Use the break to find a balanced, sensible middle ground: take time to rest and recharge, while also keeping a gentle rhythm of purposeful
revision so you return feeling confident and prepared for the final push.
Year 10, you are building the foundations for next year, and the habits you strengthen now, organisation, consistency, and confidence, will make a real difference as you move closer to your own exams.
For both year groups, balance is key: take time for yourselves, look after your wellbeing, trust your hard work and celebrate the progress you have already made.
Every step forward counts, and we are incredibly proud of each one of you as you continue working towards your goals.
Have a very good half term.
